Questions?  We Have Answers!

So what is Extra Life?

Extra Life is a yearly event that pulls gamers all over the country together to play games and raise money for sick kids.  The organization has raised millions of dollars since it was established in 2008 and continues to grow and reach new heights.

How much should I give?

Whatever you're able to/feel comfortable giving.  If you aren't able to donate at this time, we'd really appreciate it if you spread the word.

Is the stream all-ages appropriate?

From 8 am to 8 pm, we keep things PG as much as possible.  It should be safe for your kids to watch, but keep in mind that we're human and we may slip up a few times.  From 8 pm to 8 am (especially during the last 4 hours) the censorship is lifted.

What are you guys playing?

So many games!  We've gone with a co-op approach this year, meaning that our main stream will have a series of multiplayer games most of the marathon.  Aside from Mario Kart, Smash, Fibbage, Halo and Borderlands, we'll have single player streams going too and also come card games.

When is the marathon?

8 am Saturday, November 7th to 8 am Sunday November 8th.  The stream will be going the entire time, as well.

Are you doing the points thing?

Kind of!  Tracking an overall meta game is hard to do with everything else going on, but we'll still have a ticker going with everyone's made-up scores and winners of the co-op games will earn the much coveted Extra Life Championship Belt of Winning and Friendship for awhile.

Does the audience get anything?

This year we will have a super special Team Moon Moon shirt to give away.  Everyone who donates is eligible to win it and we will contact you if you are the lucky one.  As well as that we will raffle off steam codes for anyone that donates throughout the marathon.  We're still gathering the games we'll have to giveaway, so check back soon.
